Following in his distant relative's footsteps, the vice-principal does secret reanimation experiments with the help of the über hot school nurse. Reanimation is really hard to do and our "Dr. Frankenstein" is just about to give up when a little bit of vampire blood is discovered. With this new found discovery and a few unfortunate deaths, followed up by some serious serial killing by the school nurse the stage is finally set.

Frankenstein Girl and her Lolita crew are out for some serious revenge against Vampire Girl. Intermixed with incredibly bloody battles our love story plays out. Killing Vampires and Frankenstein type monsters is really hard and bloody work, but that doesn't deter our combatants. The ending had a nice little twist to our love story which was surprising, but very well thought provoking.

Final thoughts: Awesome. Lots and lots of gratuitous blood. I don't know where else I can see a movie that uses blood to make swords, saws, and senbon.

Laura Chavez did not pass go. She did not collect $200.

Instead, Santa Fe County Sheriff's deputies took the 60-year-old directly to jail after they say she repeatedly stabbed her boyfriend Wednesday after arguing during a game of Monopoly.

Police responded to a stabbing call at 1:21 a.m. Wednesday in the Casa Villita Apartments, 3330 Calle Po Ae Pi off Airport Road in southwest Santa Fe.

Deputy Kurt Whyte arrived at the apartment where he says he found the 48-year-old male stabbing victim, "bleeding heavily from his head and right wrist area."

Chavez, who police say admitted stabbing the man with a kitchen knife, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery on a household member with a deadly weapon, battery upon a peace officer, assault upon a peace officer and resisting or evading a police officer. She remained jailed late Wednesday in lieu of a $5,000 surety bond, according to an online jail database.

Her boyfriend, meanwhile, remained hospitalized late Wednesday but was in stable condition, according to Lt. Adan Mendoza.

Police say both Chavez and her boyfriend appeared to be intoxicated.

Well well well! FOX is bringing back the hit comedy series “In Living Color” in celebration of the networks 25th anniversary.

The series, which ran from 1990 to 1994, is being reprised in the form of two half-hour specials, to air in spring 2012. Keenen Ivory Wayans, who co-created and produced the original series, has signed on to host and executive-produce.

The network said that the specials will bring “a modern-day take on the hit sketch comedy show that will feature a new cast of fresh, young talent, as well as musical performances by special guests.”

The issue has come up several times over the years, but never had been fought for quite as hard as this year since the government was certainly fighting against the clock (Kate's biological clock) to change the law before the royal newlyweds started procreating.

Under the previous law, the immediate heir—meaning the child who would one day succeed Will as king—was the firstborn son of the monarch.

Now, the law has finally caught up with the times and will change to allow the firstborn child of the monarch—boy or girl—to take the throne. Which means should the couple welcome a daughter first, she will now be eligible to become queen.

The decision was a long time coming and only passed this morning once the leaders of the 16 governments of the Commonwealth unanimously agreed to change the laws in each of their realms.

British Prime Minister David Cameron had the honor of formally announcing the historic change.

"Put simply, if the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were to have a little girl, that girl would one day be our queen."

Rather fittingly, the announcement came on the very day that Queen Elizabeth II gave a speech to the heads of Australian government at a leadership conference, the theme of which was "Woman as Agents of Change."

Amy Winehouse was more than five times the drink limit when she died after going on a massive booze binge.

A verdict of misadventure was recorded today at the singer's inquest after a coroner heard how Amy hit the bottle after being dry for three weeks and was poisoned by alcohol.

An inquest into her death heard today she had 416mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood. The driving limit is 80mg.

She was found in bed in her Camden home in north London the next day.

The inquest heard her security guard looked in on her at 10am the day she died but left her for five hours before calling the emergency services.

The live-in guard, Andrew Morris, said he thought she was asleep when he initially checked on her but at 3pm he checked again and she had not moved.

St Pancras coroner Suzanne Greenway said: "She had consumed sufficient alcohol at 416mg per decilitre (of blood) and the unintended consequence of such potentially fatal levels was her sudden and unexpected death."

A new campaign, has been launched to raise awareness of, and try to stop, bill S.978. Currently in Congress, S.978 would make it illegal to upload a video of yourself singing a copyright song. Those who upload such a video could face up to five years in jail.

Although the campaign launched in opposition to the bill, titled “Free Bieber” by fans of Justin Bieber who shot to fame by performing various famous songs on YouTube, no other artist could be more effected than grassroots rapper Soulja Boy, as no performer has ever made better use of YouTube than Soulja Boy.

As early as 2005, Soulja Boy was posting his songs on music-based social community websites before creating his own pages on websites like YouTube and MySpace. Then, in 2007, Soulja Boy took the internet by storm with his classic hit, “Crank That.” Everyone showed everyone they knew the video on YouTube, and it became a viral sensation. Soulja Boy’s has generated and received some how many views 70,000,000 views and counting.  We  remember the song, and the dance that went with it, purely because Soulja Boy.

Many other hip-hop artists have gotten their start by releasing free mixtapes loaded with music on websites like mixtapekings.com and datpiff.com. Before the technology boom, hip-hop artists would often create bootleg CDs of their own material and sell them on the streets of their hometowns. However, with the Internet came an ability to deliver this music electronically with virtually no costs or limits. And so, the mixtape came into popularity, and was utilized by up and coming rappers to help gain publicity and establish a wide fan base.

And while it’s Bieber fans who are leading the charge against S.978, many others are concerned by the way the rights of large media companies are being championed by politicians over and above the rights of the American public.

The power of entertainment corporations is growing around the world, while copyright law in most jurisdictions remains rooted in a pre-Internet age. Not only are campaigners calling for S.978 to be scrapped, they also want an overhaul of copyright law so that it’s fit for the 21st century.

President Barack Obama is hitting a reliable fundraising trail in California, tapping star donors and trading quips with Jay Leno in what is for him a well-worn path.

Upon arriving in Los Angeles, Obama headed to a diverse neighborhood minutes from Lassiter's home south of Hollywood and stopped at Roscoe's, a popular Los Angeles chicken restaurant chain. Obama roved through the dining booths greeting customers, leaving at least one awestruck young boy holding his hand aloft after shaking the president's hand. One man gave him a hug and a Hispanic man told his daughter that if she studied hard "you'll be like him."

Wondering what Obama ordered? His to-go order included the No. 9 — the “Country Boy” — which consists of three wings, with the choice of waffle, potato salad and French fries.

The president will tape an appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Tuesday, his second as sitting president and fourth appearance overall. Monday evening he joined actor Will Smith and basketball legend Earvin "Magic" Johnson at a dinner at the home of producer James Lassiter. Then he mingled with Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas over canapés at the movie star couple's home just a few blocks away.

Tuesday's schedule includes a fundraiser in San Francisco featuring a performance by folk rock singer-songwriter Jack Johnson. Obama also has fundraisers scheduled in Denver later Tuesday, all part of a three-day, three-state swing through the west.

The reason, scientists say, is that when your body senses food is in short supply—even if you're restricting it on purpose—it goes on the offense, pumping out more of the hunger hormone to coerce you to eat.

Obama then responds to two or three of these letters daily, according to former senior adviser David Axelrod.

“The letters help him focus on the real problems people are facing,” said then-senior adviser David Axelrod.

“A few times during his presidency, Obama admitted, he had written a personal check or made a phone call on the writer’s behalf, believing that it was his only way to ensure a fast result,” Saslow states in the Post.

“It’s not something I should advertise, but it has happened,” the president said. “Some of these letters you read and you say, ‘Gosh, I really want to help this person, and I may not have the tools to help them right now. And then you start thinking about the fact that for every one person that wrote describing their story, there might be another hundred thousand going through the same thing. So there are times when I’m reading the letters and I feel pained that I can’t do more, faster, to make a difference in their lives.”

This counters the popular but erroneous belief that Obama is an aloof, cold, calculating and unfeeling Commander-in Chief. Perhaps his cool exterior is a defense mechanism in order for the vast problems of the country and the world to not overwhelm him. This is also Obama’s small way to bypass the massive beauracracy that slows action to a glacial pace and it is a way to circumvent Republican filibustering that has effectively negated needed corrective actions.

California rapper Snoop Dogg was stopped by immigration officials in Norway for carrying too much money. He was due to make an appearance at an Adidas store before performing at Oslo’s Spektrum Arena.

“They talkn bout takn my $$!!” the rapper tweeted. “That aint rite!! Norway standup 4 the biggdogg!! they makn me late 4 this adidas instore autograph signin!”

He was eventually released and went about his business.

Twentienth Century Fox is rumored to seeking out the chance of bring back the Showtime series hit, "Soulfood", based on the 1997 hit movie of the same name.

According to The Clutch via Fishbowl LA,

“Now, Fox is looking to revamp the series for a new generation. The project is still in the very early stages of development, but executives at the company are said to be keen on it. It isn’t yet clear whether the new Soul Food would be for the Fox broadcast network, or whether the company would try and sell it to other channels.”

Fox is known for testing black prominent shows and backing them on their network when other known networks such as ABC, NBC & CBS do not. If brought Soulfood to Fox do you think the revamped version will be just as hot or better? Let's hope.  With networks knowing that African Americans are the highest watching people, it's good to see Fox looking to bring quality Black lead shows to their network, when others do not market, seek out, or back shows marketed to us, unless it's dealing with ratchedness. Let's hope this goes through and is smartly written and that the ratings stay in high record breaking levels.<

We as black people are creating our own demise and it's sickening! I cried watching the first few minutes of this video. Black people have morality issues and it's the truth! I don't defend all black women and I don't defend all black men. Some of us black women are low down and to the dirt and need a swift kick to ass to get back into what it is to be black and woman! Hip-hop phenom Soulja Boy is out on bond after appearing before a Carroll County judge Tuesday afternoon for marijuana possession, Channel 2 Action News reported.

The newly minted 21-year-old, also known as DeAndre Cortez Way, was traveling west on I-20 around 2:30 a.m., Tuesday with four other men when their Cadillac Escalade was pulled over in Temple, about 20 miles east of the Alabama state line, for what police called a vehicle equipment violation.
